James 1: 19-20

¹⁹ My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, ²⁰ because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

I think this verse is so important because sometimes it can be so easy to get angry with any given situation and say or do things you will regret. But this is just a little reminder that when something makes you angry to take a second and calm down before you speak because once those words of anger come out they can only be forgiven, not forgotten.
