2013

2012 went by so fast and so much happened it’s hard to believe that it all happened within this one year! This past year has been full of love, happiness, good times, heart break, confusion, loneliness, times where I felt so lost, and the times of really finding me. I made a lot of poor choices in the past year but those poor choices ultimately lead me to be where I am at right now and that I wouldn’t change for the world.  While I am happy with some of the things that happened in 2012 I am honestly happy to put that year behind me and to move forward!

2013 is going to be an amazing year and I just know it!!! I don’t think I have been more excited about the start of a new year ever in my life.  This year has so much potential and I intend on making the best of it.  I don’t think I have made a new year’s goal list in years because honestly I usually think they are silly but this year I did and I am excited about it.  So here are a few of the things that I am going to try to learn, accomplish, and stick to in the next year.

·         First are foremost be more open to what God has for me

·         Do my daily devotionals every morning ( sometimes I slack with this and I can always tell it makes a difference in my day when I don’t do it and not for the better)

·         Do Join the Journey with my church ( it’s a program they do to read through the old testament)

·         Be better with my money ( I am going to do Dave Ramsey) J

·         Volunteer more of my time to help people

·         Read at least 25 new books

·         Pay off my car

·         Run a half Marathon

·         Learn how to cook

·         No Soda

·         No fast food

·         Go on more adventures ( just doing things I have never done, trying new things and going to see new places)

·         Learn how to play the piano

I am excited about all these goals and I know I can accomplish them all if I just work really hard and stay focused.  My biggest prayer and goal for the next year is that I would continue to trust God and follow him with my whole heart!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not upon your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path.”

Proverbs 3: 5-6

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29: 11
